Trust and transparency

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Springwood Recruitment handles personal information when workers create profiles, employers create company accounts, and visitors use the platform.

Last updated: 20 August 2026

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to visitors, worker applicants, approved workers, employer representatives, and other people who contact or use Springwood Recruitment. Springwood Recruitment is responsible for deciding how the platform processes the information described here. The final operating legal entity and contact details should be confirmed during legal review.

Information we collect from workers

We may collect a worker's name, Kuwait mobile number, nationality, photo, work sector and job title, employment and Kuwait experience, visa type, transferability and expiry, current employment status, expected salary, languages, profile summary, screening answers, CV, consent records, account status, and removal requests. We also keep records of uploads, reviews, approvals, rejections, and account activity needed to operate the service.

Information we collect from employers

We may collect a company name, contact person's name, work email, password hash, optional phone number, business license, verification and approval status, credit balance and ledger activity, candidates unlocked, account communications, and records of administrative review. Employers must provide only information they are authorized to share.

Information collected when the service is used

We may process IP addresses, session identifiers, request times, security and audit events, device or browser information available in standard web requests, and basic page-view analytics when analytics is enabled. We use this information to authenticate users, prevent abuse, diagnose problems, measure service use, and protect the platform.

How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts; send login codes and verification messages; review workers and companies; publish approved worker profiles; let approved employers unlock candidate contact details; operate credits; respond to support and privacy requests; prevent fraud, spam, and misuse; maintain audit records; improve the service; and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Consent and other reasons for processing

When a worker submits profile information for review and publication, or an employer submits company information for verification, we process that information to provide the requested service. Where applicable law requires consent, we rely on the consent provided during submission. We may also process information to secure the service, protect people and legal rights, respond to lawful requests, and meet legal obligations. Consent may be withdrawn by contacting us, but withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing and may prevent us from continuing the requested service.

What becomes public and what stays gated

After approval, a worker's public profile may display their name, photo, job title, sector, nationality, experience, languages, visa information, expected salary, and summary. Screening answers, Kuwait mobile number, and CV are not displayed in the public directory. An approved employer with available credits may unlock the worker's phone number and CV for genuine recruitment. Each unlock is recorded and remains associated with that employer account.

When we share information

We disclose public profile information to website visitors and gated phone or CV information to an approved employer that unlocks the candidate. We may also share the minimum necessary information with hosting, storage, SMS, email, analytics, security, and professional service providers acting for us; authorized administrators; a successor involved in a legitimate business transfer; or a court, regulator, law-enforcement body, or other authority when required or permitted by law. We do not sell personal information or provide gated candidate data for advertising lists.

Processing outside Kuwait

Some technology or communications providers may process information from countries outside Kuwait. Where this happens, we will use reasonable contractual, organizational, and technical measures and follow applicable Kuwait requirements for international processing or transfer. Provider locations and safeguards should be confirmed before launch and reviewed when providers change.

How long we keep information

We retain account and profile information while it is needed to provide the service and for a reasonable period afterward. A worker may request removal from the public directory. We may retain limited records of identity verification, consent, employer unlocks, credits, audit events, security incidents, disputes, and legal compliance after a profile or account is removed when necessary to protect users, enforce agreements, or meet legal obligations. Private files are deleted or anonymized when no longer needed, subject to backup cycles and lawful retention requirements.

How we protect information

We use administrative and technical controls designed to limit access, protect accounts, keep private uploads outside the public website, validate files, and log sensitive actions. Access is limited according to role and business need. No online service is completely secure, so users should protect passwords and OTP codes and contact us promptly if they suspect unauthorized access.

Cookies and analytics

The platform uses essential cookies to maintain secure worker, employer, and administrator sessions. Optional privacy-conscious page analytics may be enabled to understand site use and performance. We do not use essential session cookies to build advertising profiles. Browser settings can block cookies, but blocking essential cookies may prevent account features from working.

Your choices and privacy requests

Subject to applicable law, you may ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or withdrawal of consent. Workers can also request that their public profile be removed. We may need to verify identity or authority before acting, and some records may be retained where law or legitimate security, dispute, or audit needs allow. You may also raise a concern with the relevant authority in Kuwait.

People under 18

The service is intended for adults who can lawfully seek work or represent an employer. People under 18 must not create an account or submit personal information. If we learn that a child's information was submitted without legally valid authorization, we will review and delete or otherwise handle it as required by law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the service, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version here and update the date above. If a change materially affects how registered users' information is handled, we will provide additional notice where reasonably practicable or legally required.

Contact and complaints

Use the Contact page for privacy questions, complaints, or requests. Describe the request and identify the relevant worker or employer account without sending passwords, OTP codes, or unnecessary documents. We may ask for proportionate verification before disclosing, correcting, or deleting information.
